Trio Aquilo is the most established reed trio in Sweden. Since its founding in 2007, the ensemble has given treats to ears of all ages. Musical connaisseurs as well as toddlers, thanks to Trio Aquilo's much appreciated pram concerts, have since enjoyed the rich soundscape of the reed trio. 

 

The majority of their repertoire is classical music originally written for reed trios, but thanks to the group's composer and arranger, Samer Massaad, the trio also performs hymns, pop songs, jazz standards and more.

 

Through the years, Trio Aquilo have performed at different occasions like lunch- , summer- and evening concerts, children's concerts with a storyteller, shorter concerts for the elderly in retirement homes, Gothenburgs Cultural Night Festival (Kulturnatta) and their own concert concept; pram concerts for parents with young children.
